Lego was born on July 3,2004 in Budapest, Hungary, in kennel Garden Star's owned by Laszlo Toth. I have admired his mother and when Laszlo told me she was having her last litter, I knew I had to have a puppy from her. 

There is so much to tell about Lego - how observant, intelligent and biddable he was. He had such a great charisma, people stopped on the street to say hi, he was the life of the party. He hated conformation ring, and really disliked even competing at Rally - but he loved to show off how smart he was. He finished his Rally Advanced title at 12 years old as I didn't feel confident in competing in any kind of obedience myself. So I just let him do his thing, and he passed with flying colors! His favorite was field, he loved to hunt, he loved the birds and he had a great nose. We did a lot of scent training as well, but never competed. He was fantastic at canvasing the room and finding the item buried in the back of the drawer, or hidden high up. He had endless patience and loved to do tricks that showed it off.

His favorite place on Earth was the beach - and swimming in 'his' Lake Michigan. 
He passed away at almost 14 from Aspiration Pneumonia he was hiding - the day before going into ER he hiked for a mile with no problem. Stubborn until the end.
